A Question From The Junior Senator (I) From His Parents' Couch

I really, really hope the answer isn't "Because she just had a stroke," but why is Judge Sotomayor talking like she just had a stroke?

This is not a blog post. Not one bit. Trust me, I'm a lawyer.

Although you may be a lawyer, the better question may be, are you a GOOD lawyer or a BAD lawyer??

Excellent question! If ONLY the senators would ask such compelling questions of the 'Wise Latina Judge'.

heh

blessings!

Easy--because she's a "wise Latina judge", she needs to make sure she doesn't sound like Rosie Perez.

(Or, because one specific comment keeps come up again and again, she's trying to very carefully word her answers so the don't have more ammunition against her.)

I am wiser than a wise Latina woman.

Dear Joe Dude,
What happened? did you fall off your parents' couch? did the Feds get to you for your comments? Did the ninjas finally find your hide out? I think I speak for all your readers: We Miss You.

Maybe I shouldn't have my happiness depend on Joe Dude.

I say that Joe Dude should have a guest blogger when he's not available/has nothing to write about. He's got siblings and parents, right? Where's a Paddy Boy post?

I agree. A guest blogger would be better than this endless checking for a new post and the crushing disappointment I feel each time there is no new entry.

Molly - It is, I won't, and you're not.

LCR - Bad. Undoubtedly.

SweetPeaSurry - Blessings? I like it. Blessings to you too.

Anonymous - I agree of course, that prudence is the better part of valor in those stupid things. I'd just like it to seem a little more clever and a little less dull.

B-Lo - You wish.

BK - I must not get out (to 7-eleven) enough. Skoal girls?

lucy - Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Anonymous - Have no fear. My couch seatbelt, political connections (Ms. Sotomayor), and my extensive anti-ninja training keep me quite safe.

Anonymous #2 - Definitely you shouldn't. That's what amphetamines are for.

Anonymous #3 - You should definitely not expect that to happen.

Anonymous #4 - See previous amphetamines advice to anon #2.
