Dear Everybody,
Thanks for guessing. And also for making me feel a little less alone in having viewed that frothy deathbeast.
The winner of the $5 (and all of the disturbing personal questions that come with it) is Roscoe Jenkins. Her Holiday Card will be stuffed accordingly.
The picture is indeed from the 1980's television series "V," a show that I randomly began watching a couple of weeks ago, brilliantly determined would be a perfect candidate for a remake, and then saw an ad for, you guessed it, ABC's remake.
For those of you wondering--and really, how could you not be?--the creature in the picture is the offspring of one of the lizardlike alien invaders and a whiny, man-haircutted Earthling named Robin. It was actually one of a set of twins, who, as should be apparent from the photo below, were clearly fraternal.
When the demon baby was extracted (everything was done via C-section, as alien-human hybrid deliveries invariably are), I started laughing. When its little brother climbed out--yes, the doctors panicked and it delivered itself--I almost had a hernia.
I can't tell if it looks more like a tiny green Krang or a tiny evil (live-action) Ninja Turtle.

I'm not sure how I feel about the title of this post, but the $5 might actually make up for it :P Like I said, it was a couple years before my time, but I my cousin made me watch it once or twice. I *AM* excited about the remake. I already have a reminder set so I don't forget...as if I could.
Drats, I was a day late. I should get bonus points for saying it was a twin before you gave the answer.

BK, I'll give you half :P
I'm glad to see you two worked this out.
This economy is tough, I want you to have it, but use it wise.

HA! Thanks BK. I appreciate it. It'll go straight to grad school application fees :)
I really do read your blog but I never comment. (sorry) Lately I have been so so busy and have put your blog on the back burner. I am spending this day to catch up. And then I read THIS!!! I am so bummed I missed this contest because V was the best show of the 80's!! I loved when the icky monster baby came out of the womb, but the best was when the "regular" baby came out and then stuck it's forked tongue at us!!! But did you notice that as that girl grew up she not only was just a weird creepy child with creepy powers but she no longer had a forked tongue??? As a kid that always bothered me, and apparently, it still does. Sorry I missed your contest, sorry I just wrote you a novel, sorry I lurk and never comment.
